Jaime Ortega is the Executive Art Director at Next Public Affairs, where he brings over a decade of experience in visual communication to help clients shape public policy through bold, strategic design. Jaime leads the firm’s creative vision, overseeing brand development, digital storytelling, and campaign aesthetics for mission-driven clients across sectors.
With a background rooted in both public affairs and high-impact design, Jaime uses visual storytelling to cut through noise and drive influence. From issue advocacy to coalition-building, he crafts compelling narratives that connect emotionally, inspire action, and elevate the voices that matter most.
Before Next, Jaime served as Art Director at Resolute Public Affairs, where he led the design strategy for clients including the Grant Park Music Festival, Illinois Beverage Association, Gary/ Chicago International Airport, Learn Charter Schools, and the Can the Tax campaign for the American Beverage Association. He began his career at Golin, contributing to campaigns for global brands like McDonald’s and Unilever.
Jaime earned his BFA in Graphic Design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. His creative direction is grounded in purpose, clarity, and a deep understanding of how visuals move people—and policy.
